Shoes trends 19-20

So, I was sitting and thinking of the topics we haven’t discussed yet… And I realized that that we spoke about pretty much all trends. But the fashion industry week took place in London and I simply can’t skip it. So, let’s glance at the relevant autumn-winter shoes and then leave the trends topic for a while.

1. Massive platform.

70s are back again! I really like this trend and the way tiny foot looks together with such shoes. It’s a perfect contrast, do you agree? You will look even better if you wear so called “tractor” platform. You will look daring.

2. Mary Jane shoes.

Lots of people don’t like these shoes. Some people think that they are old-fashioned or too childish. Believe me, you can forget about it. You can wear such shoes not only to school, they are perfectly fine for adults. And not only back then in 70s, but nowadays as well.

3. Super upgraded shoes.

We are slowly drifting away from minimalism and choose interesting and more shocking direction! We do it with the help of accessories! It’s almost impossible to find minimalistic or monotonous shoes this season.

4. “Frankenstein” style.

Remember how popular such dresses were some years ago and everyone used to wear them? Designers decided to repeat this trend and apply it to shoes. And in my opinion they did it well. This season is all about being extraordinary and these shoes match this trend.

5. Wedge heel and thick heels.

If broad platform is not for you, you can try an alternative option – simple and stable heel. It’s a practical option on contact to high heels, for example.

So, were you surprised by any of the trends? It seems to be that trends become more and more diverse and it becomes more and more difficult to steal the show by wearing them. But on the other hand the imagination of designers is very rich and they always find something to impress us.
