What do our dreams contain and what do we apply on our faces?

I am sure that people, who are attentive to what they eat are also attentive to the composition of food. But we seldom check the composition of cosmetics. And it’s not really good. Because sometimes we apply something without thinking and then get surprised when face with skin problems. In this article we will try to answer the question: Is there a need to overpay?
What does the package say to us?

Not tested on animals.

Non-comedogenic (doesn’t create a film effect)

Dermatologically tested – approved by dermatologists.

Stage 1.

We find suitable for us cream.

Creams are divided into different categories:
-Anti-aging
-Regenerating
-Nourishing

The first step is to answer the question – what kind of effect do you want to get from a cream? And then continue analysis.

Stage 2.

Emulsion. In brief, it’s water mixed with oil. It’s important to pay attention to the oils – whether they are natural or not. Unfortunately, quite often oils are mineral. It’s way better if you buy an emulsion with olive, almond or another natural oil.

Stage 3.

Preservatives. They make creams last longer. But if the cream has extremely long expiration date, there is nothing good about it. Try to choose creams which contain minimum of preservatives.

Stage 4.

Finally the most pleasant thing! Scent! Let’s be honest, aroma is an important factor when we choose cosmetics. I hope you understand that the more intense the aroma is, the worse it is for you. It’s just like with the food. Strong scent is the consequence of flavors. If you have sensitive skin, you have to refuse from flavors. Yes, the cosmetics is more expensive. But it’s better not to risk than sped lots of money on cure for skin rash.

So, what creams to avoid?

I have explained a little bit above. But we didn’t get the answer for the question : “What components shouldn’t be in the composition?” So, here is the answer. UV-filters. They are real carcinogens. Avoid such chemicals as phthalates and dioxane. Speaking about day creams, harmful components in their composition are: AHA-acids (phytic and kojic), arbutin, globridin and retinoids. They don’t need to contact with UV sun rays. That’s why it’s not the option for daily usage.

Conclusion:
Sometimes even brands for cost conscious customers can be attentive and responsible while producing creams. And luxury cosmetics sometimes can be not really skin friendly. That’s why it’s important to test the product and test the product before buying it, because it can cause allergies. And not everything always depends on price.
