Recently, I exhibited a short video, or rather, the preparation for the main training session. I never showed how I warm up before boxing, so this time I decided to record a video for you) It turned out great! Thank you coach Arthur Ternovykh!

By the way, this warm-up can be performed as a basic workout as well, having made 3-5 circles of each of the demonstrated exercises.

What the trainer commented on all these exercises:
-Exercises on the coordination ladder will help fighters learn how to move properly, improve speed indicators, sharpen certain reflexes. In addition, strength, endurance, balance, coordination, maneuverability develops. During the training, the motor skills of the arms and legs are involved.

1. Jumping on one leg along the stairs one way and the other. We try to perform on speed.
2. Jumping on two legs, moving forward, we then reduce, then we’ll break our legs during the jump. Also in both directions.
3. Minimest attacks with an imitation of a direct blow with your left hand, move with your left foot. Also in both directions.
4. Jumps “alternate movement” of the legs to the sides. We also try to carry out the movements for speed. Forward and backward.
5. Mini attack with an imitation of a direct blow with your right hand, move the right foot.

-Treatment of the bar or the bar while standing. Without this special exercise, it is impossible to imagine a full-fledged training boxer’s arsenal.

Technique of execution:
• starting position – grip approximately on the width of the shoulders, the vulture lies on the chest or holds in front of it;
With explosive movements, the bar is thrown forward in front of it and as quickly returns;
• The spring movement of the legs is performed in time with the outbursts. What the exercise does:
• the development of the muscles of the hands, back and shoulder girdle, as well as an increase in their rapid contractility.

The weight of the bar is selected in accordance with the weight and functional fitness of the boxer.

-Shadowboxing is the practice of fixing the same repetitive boxing moves to the memory. Forget about strength or speed or endurance, strategy, sudden movements and so on. It’s just a draft exercise to move your body like a boxer. It’s a constant practice of developing your coordination, which truly makes you a boxer and makes you natural. This is the greatest ability to move your body, that will develop your naturalness, allow you to relax, be agile, balanced, feel comfortable in your own body.
